Lambretta DL125 Project in NYC

DL125

I’m loving what’s been done to this DL125. We’re used to seeing full blown customs, race replicas, S Type’s, lights & mirrors, but this has a different feel about it. By keeping the stock colour and allowing the original patina to stay as is, it’s got a quiet certainty about it. Fitted with a MMW head, RB225, forged piston, 62mm stroke (238,5ccm), 35 Mikuni TMX, VForce3 valve set it up, it’s not going to hang around! I actually prefer it without the panels, a popular way of riding back in the 80’s, however, not seen very often in this day and age. All in all though a cracking scooter that has given me a few ideas, in other words, inspirational!
